Pap Smears
We know — the thought of a pap smear isn’t exactly thrilling. But hear us out: it's a crucial part of preventing cervical cancer. A pap smear is a quick and painless procedure that can help detect cervical cancer in its early stages when it's most treatable. During a pap smear, your doctor will take a sample of cells by gently scraping the inner wall of the cervix. It’ll then be sent to the lab to test for any abnormalities.
Most cases of cervical cancer are preventable. So don't put it off, ladies! Schedule that appointment today to lessen the risk of getting cervical cancer, or avoid it altogether. We recommend that women start getting regular Pap smears at age 21 or within three years of becoming sexually active.
Trust that your dignity will be upheld and your health prioritised!
