Dr MF Britz (Dalena)
With more than 25 years of experience under her stethoscope, Dr Dalena Britz is your down-to-earth doctor who focuses on kind, respectful treatment for all her patients. As a Family Physician, she uses a biopsychosocial model of attending to a patient, which means she takes into account the physical, psychological and social elements of a patient’s illness, placing a big emphasis on your fears, perceptions, and expectations. So rather than looking at just the physical symptoms, we treat you as a whole.
Dr Britz got her degree in Medicine in 1992. In 2001, she obtained her degree in Family Medicine (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch University. She’s happily been at our practice since 1996! Dr Britz has been a part-time lecturer and examiner at the Family Medicine Department at Stellenbosch University for 20 years and has also taught Evidence-Based Medicine on a postgraduate level. She prides herself on staying up to date with the newest medical research by attending seminars, conferences and webinars.
Building trusting, personal relationships with her patients and their families, Dr Britz puts her heart into looking after your well-being. Caring for her patients gives meaning and purpose to her life — as she puts it, “I love my work. My goal is to give hope and light up the life of every person I meet”.
Anneke Strauss
Anneke is our phenomenal Practice Manager and has been managing us since 1994. She coordinates doctors and administrative staff. It's a big job, but fortunately, we've got the best in the biz!
Her job is to make sure everything runs smoothly, from scheduling appointments to developing and implementing policies and procedures that enshrine top-class patient care.
Samantha Savvoy
Samantha’s been responsible for keeping the accounts spick and span since 2014! She also has a Diploma in HR management. From sending invoices to tracking payments she’s the one who keeps the lights on and the coffee brewing.
With her strong work ethic and clear communication abilities, she’s a stellar addition to our team.
